Chipotle Cream Cheese Spread

Hello Herb Enthusiasts!
It's been a while since we posted and it's actually my inaugural post! Since it's been about 2 1/2 years since I started at The Thyme Garden, we've been busy keeping up with all the day to day and barely ever get to play with something like the blog.
Now that the Dog Days of summer are here, we're avoiding the heat and getting caught up on our blogging. 
One new recipe we really love is our delicious Chipotle Cream Cheese Spread. Not only is this spread delicious on fresh baguettes, crackers, or slices of cucumber fresh from the garden, it's also great baked into a pastry crust with leftover chicken for a wonderful hand pie.

Chipotle
Cream Cheese Spread
8 oz cream cheese
2 Tbsp butter
2 Tbsp yogurt
1/4 tsp chipotle powder
2 Tbsp roasted red pepper, minced
1 tsp latin herbs: vietnamese coriander, quillquina, papalo, pipicha or cilantro
1 small clove garlic, pressed
 
Soften cream cheese and butter in a medium bowl or stand mixer. Add remaining ingredients and mix until well blended. Chill and serve.
